Dammit. Seeing these reviews reminds me why 87% of all Newgrounds reviewers are assholes.

This wasn't that good, but apparently WAY too much work was put into this to make it "turd of the week"

Jesus christ... you people are fucking heartless, and stupid, to boot. Bunch of retard 12 year olds, that think you can trash someones stuff just because you just learned how to use your mommy's computer. I've got news for you.. sure i only gave this a 3 out of 10, but isn't Turd Of The Week usually given to fucked up prank, or some miserable shit like someone scribbling in flash and exporting it? Not this. This looks like some time and consideration was put into it (although not much, honestly.. at least i can SEE how some time was put into this one.)

Seriously.. Newgrounds is just too fucking hostile towards everyone becuase of all the immature tards posting reviews. It really makes Newgrounds suck a lot of the time. I seriously also think that reviews should be moderated around here, becuase this overgrowth of moron reviewers is WAY out of hand.

Anyway, to the author: Don't listen to these fucknuts. That had some potential, and if you keep trying, you'll make something good, whether or not these whiny little idiotic bitches have the mental capacity to appreciate it.

Geez.. really though.. Newgrounds is supposed to be a place for amature flash makers to submit stuff. Not to have every single thing ripped to shreds even if it isn't really that horrible. You fuckers should be ashamed that you are responsible almost entirly for Newgrounds's bad reputation.

FINALLY, someone speaks the freaking truth about whats going on with all the hate filled reviews. im not good with flash....i havent had it that long and i did put effort into this. if i diddnt put any effort into it, it would have come out with nothing. Newgrounds is for ameteur flash making, not tv quality cartoons. And there are people (like me) that arent flash gods and can just sit down on the computer...scribble a little bit and come out with a movie or game like Alien Hominid. And yes, reviews should be moderated.

nice. I liked this. Twas pretty funny. I Liked the ending.

The art wasn't that good however. Looked very amaturish, but still, it made me laugh.

ok, well, i'll be generous.

I'm going to be generous with my review here for one main reason.

This flash, although it wasn't a very good "flash" at all... did keep me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed the audio. Becuase.. well, it was very moving. And it was beautiful. And I appreciate that FakeShot made a flash out of this, and brought these messages to other people.

Having said that, the actual flash isn't very good, the song wasn't made by him, and therefore, anyone who likes this song, and the messages in it could have made this flash just as easily. Therefore.. it's not very good at all.

But it did captivate me. I feel like i'm at odds with this review becuase it's a cheap peice of junk, but it's based on something that just touched my heart in a very special place. So wow... i'm not sure what to say.

Maybe with this message, you touched a soft part of me that leaves me unable to say that this sucks, but i guess, i'll give this a 5 out of 10, just becuase of the content. Although i don't like the flash, this made me... introspective. So yes. Thank you for this inspirational message. Now be more creative in the future, ok? :)

Good concept. I'll give you that. It looked neat, and it was animated neat. The concept, like I said was good. Thought provoking. Intellegent. It had style, and creativeness points going for it.

The bad part? Judging by this movie, i don't really think you've gotten the hang of flash, yet. No preloader, and at the end it just fades out and the music keeps playing regardless. Like when you got to the end you just stopped and let the flash music keep playing. Putting the whole song in there also made the flash a bigger file than it should have been.

I'm not putting it down or anything, cause you have good visual flair, a good style, and i basically liked it. It's just the execution was sloppy and you need to kinda work on your flash making techniques and skill in future movies. Keep trying, though. Cause you obviously have the talent there to make good stuff.

that was nice.

Pretty good. It made me laugh, and it was pretty original. I also liked how it seems like a real anime in many places. Especially the old "let's cut to the sudden bumper break" thing. hehehe.. nice parody of anime there.

The only problem i might have with it (and it's really not much of a problem) is the little corners you cut with the animation every now and then. Heck, i've done them myself so it's not a big deal.. but it does make things look ever so slightly "off". But that's not just advice i give you, but it's even advice i should take myself.

The hand drawn images though are nice, and i like the design on everyone. (the demon father humming "Cruel Angel Thesis" was a nice touch too. hehehe).

Basically, i admire this alot for it's take on "cute anime". Last but not least... rabbit-san rules! He should totally have been all like reflecting the fire with his sword, and all like totally counter-attacking and stuff. hehe... But i guess he's not that experenced. Rabbit-san has the confidence, but he lacks da skill to back it up. hehe...

That was very very nice, man.

It's so good to see a sprite movie on NG that is actually original, and dosn't have to resort to crude, disgusting humor just to make everyone like it. I also love to see one that's well made, and that has jokes that make me LAUGH for some reason other than peach giving mario head, or bowser doing the same, or characters getting ripped into bloody shreds. Cause that stuff is overplayed and ISN'T funny anymore.

So it's very refresing to see a movie that's hilarious on it's own. And this movie is one of them. Congradulations, you've earned your spot on the front page as far as i'm concerned. Also, i'm anxiously awaiting part two. Just what did Luigi do to make him so mad? Guess i'll have to wait and see.

Good job. Kicks ass. Nice adaptation of that comic. I like how you meticulously plan stuff out. Not only that, but your stuff looks like Randy Solem. Except... Except... You're stuff is actually better.

Like, this looks like his type of work right prior to that overhyped ROTMK. But somehow, i like this a bit more. It's hard to exactly say why. There's just sort of a "Je ne sais qua" about it... it's hard to explain.

Anyway, you still rock. Rock....hard..... ^_^

I liked it very much.. but...

ok.. FIRST of all. I want you immature moron idiots to read this first part. Yes... those of you that can't review anything with more than 4 words, with including "gay" or "fuck" as at least half of the 4 word sentance, and for those that say "This sucks, you need to work on your flash" I have a simple few words that you people can no doubt understand. "Fuck.... You.."

First of all people who tell this guy to work on his flash... most of you HAVE no flash. Therefore you have no idea how kinda difficult it is to MAKE things move this fluidly and animate things this well. Especially when it's FRAME ANIMATED!. I doubt that many of you "5 second reviewers" that have even TRIED Flash even know how to up the frame rate. This IS animated nicely. Not the really bad and crappy 96% of NG submissions that have a ugly drawn guy with MS paint drawn limbs attached to an ugly, stump of a body that looks like you drew him with a mouse during a severe bout of epilispy, or blobby shapes using the oval tool connected to form some kind of man. And btw this DOES have a story. It's just a very simple one. If you're a reviewer that can't understand this simple "story" than what does that say for your OWN powers of observation? I mean.. geez.. ignorant morons that think they are great reviewers while still unable to write a complete sentance are really pissing me off. Alot. Becuase there are obviously so MANY of you 8 year olds out there. And on this very site. Which you all flock to, and give your armchair opinions on real talent that is ultimatly irrelevant.

That was pretty good. You can probably tell by now that i feel like going through and reviewing a bunch of your stuff, cause i don't have much to do tonight. (and becuase i'm a fan.)

A nice, well done, stylish quickie that evokes a quick, mood, and gets a definate point across. You should be proud that you've been able to touch a never with some people and give them a quick movie that everyone can relate to. I mean.. i certainly do. Like, take for instance all of the 8 year old, mentally handicapped reviewers on NG. THEY are the white balls of the world. Maybe in the next movie you should add a pair of "blue balls" ..you know, so that the reviewers that trash your stuff and can't make their OWN stuff will have something to suck on that they are familliar with. ;) That way, they can relate to a work of yours as well. hehehe.

Anyway, sorry for using your very very decent flash as a fourm for my tirade. I'm just so sick of know-it-alls who know NOTHING trash someones TALENT.

This was kinda nice. I liked the animation on the girl when she turned around. That was quite good. Neat character design. Especially the wacked out spiky headed guy. I liked that.
The !POTS thing was really cool, and an awesome sound effect. Is that a Gradius or a Parodius sound effect??

Also, i don't know if you inteneded it this way, but i found the "look out behind you" thing to look a HELL of a lot like Ninja Gaiden II for NES cinema segment after beating the green monster boss. If it was a homage, great job. I remember that segment.

And yeah.. it was short, alright, but i'm not gonna go "OMG! TOO SHORT MAKE IT LONGER WTF!". Sometimes a nice short thing is good. Or at least I can see the value of that.

!POTS ...heh heh... some of your stuff in your movies (Such as the Parovidius "I WANT A MILLION HELLACOPTORS AND A DOLLAR" thing) and this !POTS thing are becoming classic favorite phrases of mine. ^_-

You're pretty damn close!!! The alarm noise you hear is from Nemesis for Game Boy, also known as...GRADIUS!!!

The LOOKOUTBEHINDYOU is just part of the dialogue, if anything is intended to refer to anything else, it's definitely the Jessica Rabbit phrases at the start. In earlier versions, though, I even used a clip of Jessica shouting "BEHIND YOU" before the shadowy figure gets shot out.

The other phrase you love, from ParoVadius, came originally from an episode of Dinosaurs wherein the food in the fridge took over the house when Charlene babysat her little brother. It was the head cheese's ransom letter, which one of his underlings corrected for him when he misread it.

[A Decline Christmas]

You guys have done it again.

Blah... "You guys have done it again." ...like, how many times have people probably already said that to you? Well, i think i said it on your last movie, too, so I guess I'VE just done it again. You know....Say what you've already heard before. I mean from other people then other what i might have said in the review for Decline 2. Er... Okay i'm done. :p Review time.

Well, as a nice, little christmas special before Decline 3, I gotta say, i am once again, impressed. How you guys have such a polished and professional mastery of Flash, i'll never know. There are some people like The Bros Chaps.. and The Super Flash Bros, that have mastered flash and keep on making awesome quailty stuff. Yay for that. It makes my life a little brighter to see.

Might I also add, that my Christmas (which is today, in fact) really sucked until I happened upon this submission. So, also yayx2, now.

Your site as great as well. I bookmarked it. I mean.. come on.. i HAVE to. It's The Super Flash Bros site. :p Anyway, what else can I say except "great work, loved it, waiting patiently for Decline 3, yadda, yadda, yadda N-Gage is gay." :p

Lastly.... boy, isn't it nice to see a review where people will talk to you like a real human being? I know I like it when people talk to me as if I were a real person. Anyway, i'm done. Again... It rocks. And you guys have yourself a nice christmas. Now that Decline Christmas is over and i've watched it 3 times, I must bid you farewell for the time being so that I can go now.. and pick up the peices of what is left of my OWN christmas.
